A Life Changed by What Cannot Be Explained

This site exists because of something that happened in the spring of 2001 — an experience that was impossible to ignore, impossible to explain, and ultimately impossible to keep silent about.

Before the Event

I grew up the proud son of a sharecropper father from South Carolina. Dad picked cotton at 6 yrs old, from sun up to sun down. My mother's father came North during the Black Migration in the early 1900s. He worked building the railroads in the Northeast, saved his money, bought a lot of land in New Jersey and brought his family from Georgia. There, with 2 of his brothers, they built a thriving black community. We celebrated our 100th Anniversary in 2020. My parents and their families were leaders in their communities. Hobbstown, named after my Grandfather and his brothers, was the center of Black Life in Central NJ for decades. After high school I went to a Presbyterian college in Ohio where I became President of the Black Students Association in my freshman year. At 19 I became an original member of the NJ Chapter of the Black Panther Party. I was a 2nd Lieutenant, a member of the Central Committee and the Minister of Information. I also had the only car for the entire state chapter.  Driving home alone from Ohio after semester finals on December 15, 1967, I had the paranormal experience that has forever impacted me. I fortunately missed being on the biggest bridge collapse in US History. 46 people died in that tragedy  in Point Pleasant, WVA.  Cell phones were not invented yet so no communication was available. My parents saw it on the news that evening and knew I took that bridge. For over 8 hrs they feared that I was on it. I was totally unaware of their frantic state of panic and worry. The sheer joy and relief on their faces when I stepped on the porch and put the key in the door will stay with me forever. The "Mothman Prophecies" is a true documented story about The Silver Bridge Collapse in Point Pleasant.  There is a book by Jonathan Keel and a movie, starring Richard Gere as Keel and Debra Messing about the unexplained paranormal activities, people and events. I had no idea that I was being caught up in it. I didn't see the movie until a couple of years after it was made in 2002 or knew that it had any connection to my experience.  The movie shows a man gain the same ability I had to predict plane crashes. Both of us got that after being in the Point Pleasant area. at that time. He predicted 99 would die and they did. He committed suicide when that happened. After seeing the movie I found the book. More shocking coincidences were found. I was totally stunned to see Jonathan Keel, the main character, was not only having unexplained incidents, but had the same birthday as mine. In the book he mentions a famous Italian pyschic with the same birthdate. Before the winter of 1967, I had no history of paranormal experiences. I did have an interest in prophecy or prediction, but had no reason to believe that anything unusual would ever happen to me.

I had an active and fulfilling teen years during the 1960s. America was going through a lot with Civil Rights, the Women's and Hippie Movement, and the Vietnam War.  I was not affiliated with any government agency or intelligence organization. I had no insider knowledge of any kind.

The Paranormal Event

In the spring of 2001, I experienced something I have never been able to fully describe. It was a dream. Ever since the Point Pleasant Bridge collapse in 1967, I had dreams of catastrophic plane crashes that came true. It was not a feeling or a vague premonition. It was a clear, specific, and overwhelming vision of an attack on American soil — a landmark, a date range, a scale of destruction.

The experience was terrifying, and it left me with information I could not dismiss. I did not know what to do with it. I only knew I could not stay silent.

The Decision to Warn

After days of deliberation, I composed a formal written warning and sent it to government officials. I described what I had seen as clearly and specifically as I could. I included the nature of the attack, the type of target, and the timeframe.

I did not expect to be believed but I couldn't let it go. I sent the warning because I believed it was the right thing to do — and because I wanted there to be a record, regardless of what happened next.

After September 11

When the attacks occurred on September 11, 2001, I was devastated — not only by the tragedy itself, but by the knowledge that the warning had gone unheeded. The email I had sent three months earlier described what had just happened.

In the years since, I have carried this account privately. I am making it public now because the record deserves to exist — not as a claim of special ability, but as a documented fact that can be examined, questioned, and considered.

Why This Site

I am not seeking fame, profit, or validation. I am publishing this account because the email exists, the date is verifiable, and the public has a right to know that this warning was sent.  I am also publishing it because I feel there is another dimension to life that we humans can tap into.

I welcome scrutiny. I welcome questions. The evidence is on record. I can only follow God's plan. I have been asked many times to write a book. So many things have happened that have led to me revealing this information now. God has been patient with me for 25 years with this burden/gift and it's only by his grace now that he's giving me this platform and others to inform of another dimension of life. I have another warning that I'm including in my memoir.
